This was for the Film “ Weapons”.

I was originally given a gore element to work with to create the illusion that the young man in the foreground was being shot in the back of the head by the man in the background.

The gore element was less than satisfactory. Using a series of hand painted elements and warp tracking I created a new gore element and splatter effect to enhance the sense of explosive force coming from the wound.
